The EFL Cup is the English Football League’s involves all 92 Premier League and EFL clubs with final taking place at Wembley every February. The competition is in a straight knockout format and is much shorter in length than the other English Cup, FA Cup.
The EFL Cup semifinals are two legs in which the games are played home and away at the respective clubs.

Last season, Liverpool FC were champions of the competition, their first time since 2012, as Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Chelsea at Wembley in penalty kicks, to end Manchester City’s four-year successive dominance of the trophy.
